Basic Blog Package

Set up of your blog includes the following (using TypePad Blogging Service):

• Custom design of a blog banner-header (static photo) in keeping with your colour and content theme;
• Animated sidebar button set (maximum of 6 buttons) including their links to the sites of your choice;
• 8 widgets of your choice will be installed and arranged to your specifications (suggestions will be made to you on which ones you should consider, and why);
• One month of support and instructions to ensure your comfort in posting on the blog;
• Information on where to obtain a freeware photo manipulation program that will allow you to modify and resize photos for your blog (no need to purchase an expensive photo program); and
• Instructions on how to use this photo manipulation program for your blog photos.

This package is designed to get you up and running in no time at all and ensure your comfort and enjoyment in the world of blogging.  Not only will you be able to post on the blog but will also be able to include photos that are resized so your visitors will not encounter delays in viewing because of photos that are to large.

Animated Button Styles

The Basic Blog Package invites you to have "designer" buttons for your links.  It is these buttons that make your blog different from all the others and personalizes your site to your chosen theme.

Below are 4 different designs I have created and a 5th can be seen on my upper left sidebar (the ships).  While none are presently active (they do not link to anything) once designed for your site they would direct your visitor to the web address' of your choice.  Should you wish to see a set of buttons that have their links working I invite you to visit the StampersPad site

I have put these buttons up to show you what can be accomplished.  All we need to do is decide on your theme, style and colour scheme and a "set" of buttons will be created specially for your site.

I invite you to place your mouse pointer over each of the buttons to see the animation.  When trying the "Jack in the Box" buttons be sure to have your speakers on as they have sound included.

A much more advanced set of buttons can be seen in the Photo at the top of this blog.  This banner demonstrates some animation and the buttons can be as fun as the ones in this post.  Try the buttons in the banner as they are "working"!  To have an animated banner requires an upgrade in the Typepad service, thus your monthly cost for the blogging service to Typepad would be slightly more.  Further the updating of the blog itself becomes somewhat more difficult and time consuming.  Notwithstanding this, the effect can be astonishing and well worth the efforts and cost.

Panoramic Photo Banners

Not only can you use this animation as a banner but also makes an interesting insert within a post.  It is sure to increase interest in your discussions.

Tutorial Blog Posts

This style can be used for "self contained" tutorials or graphic presentations.  What is nice is that the whole package is viewable without scrolling down the page to see what is next.  Just click on the "NEXT" button located in the bottom right corner to continue with the tutorial.

It is important to know that I originally designed each of these blogs.  This is to say that I designed the graphics in the banner header (image at the top of the blog) and the graphics as well as the contents within the sidebars.

I have had no input as to the content within the posts and some if not most of the content within the sidebars may have changed since I completed the original design and handed the blog over to its author.
