They're here and they are gorgeous! What a great group of swap cards. Everyone put a lot of effort in creating wonderful cards using the stamp sets and supplies from the New Occasions Mini Catalogue. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Erin West designed this pretty card using "Bloomin' Beautiful". I think that says it all! Just beautiful!
What a ggggreat card by Deb Duval. You can't see it in this shot but the lime is covered in our new green glitterand the lemon is covered in yellow glitter. Wow, does it sparkle! The new striped ribbon adds a special touch!
Jenn's card is Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. So warm and sweet! She used the subtle pink dotted, Berry Bliss background paper on the bottom of this card and the stamp set "Just Celebrate" for the central heart image and words.
This card by Karine really pops! She used the new Summer Picnic Designer Paper with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Real Red, and bashful Blue cardstock. The stamp set featured is "Tart and Tangy".
Trina's beautiful card uses the new set "Bloomin' Beautiful" and features the technique of spotlighting.
The pop of colour directs your eye upward and creates a point of interest. Trina used most of the stamp images from this set in a balanced and eye pleasing way.
What a versatile set this is. Using the same set "Boomin' Beautiful", Kim Kirkwood creates another delightful card! Notice all the details: white eyelets, pink gingham ribbon, spiral punch, pastel flowers and embossed words.
Another sweet card using the "Tart and Tangy" stamp set. Rochell did a beautiful job on this card.
More "Tart & Tangy" by Shannon Kelly. This one is just so juicy in a more monochromatic theme it makes me thirsty for OJ!
Rosalie used the new Summer Picnic designer paper in her "Tart & Tangy" card creation. With the Old Olive poly-twill ribbon which is also from the Occasions Mini it is a real eye candy card! She also used the scallop punch to pop the strawberry up from the background design. Very effective.
I don't know who created these last two cards but they are lovely. This one uses one of the stamps from "Big on Spring" and features faux stitching on the inner Bashful Blue layer. This stamp set was given to all demonstrators who attended Regional Seminars. Lucky ladies!
Our final card features another of the 8 images from "Just Celebrate" with Close to Cocoa and Ruby Red Prints designer series paper. The corner rounder punch was used on the central image and it looks like it may have been used to make the scalloped edge. The tiny white dots made with our white gel pen balance the colour very nicely.
Which is your favourite stamp set used in these cards? For a chance to win my BLOG CANDY don't forget to guess which stamp set I have on order from the mini . Hint: see my post from March 6th.
