In celebration of being Typepad's Featured Blog this week I put together a"Blog Candy" package to thank you for your support and encouragement along the way.  In order to have your name entered to win please post a comment below suggesting what you would like to see included on StampersPad like a stamping challenge or a tutorial topic etc.

My new rubber arrived yesterday and I could hardly wait to get my hands on it!  Here's a picture of the first card I made with my new stamp set " Friendly Flowers".  I hope you like it.

Recipe: Markers, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Rose Red.
Cardstock: So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Designer Series Paper "Cutie Pie".
Other: Whisper white grosgrain ribbon, Silver Hodgepodge ribbon buckle

Wow!  I've had this blog up and running since the end of November and in the last month we've had over 4000 views! Now that's worth celebrating!  So I have another Blog Candy draw for anyone correctly guessing the stamp set that I have on order from the New Occasions Mini.

More Pretties!!!

In Wednesday night's Pretties Class we had a lot of fun making beautiful cards using the Pretties Kit.  Although the elements in the Kit added to any card will make it special, we embossed and used crystal effects on each card!  Afterward, I was inspired to finish the card above. 

Recipe:

Stamps: Garden Whimsy, Wonderful Words, Whimsy Wheel     Ink: Versamark, Classic Pumpkin Pie, Paper: Blush Blossom, Pumpkin Pie, Cardstock Vellum    Other: 1/2 Pearls from Pretties Kit, iridescent Ice EP, various punches 
How did I emboss the butterfly in colour with only classic ink you ask...  Well first you ink your stamp with Versamark and then, before stamping the image on the paper, ink it with classic ink on top. NOW stamp and emboss with Iridescent Ice.
