What a neat little tool this Cool Spritzer is! I don't know how I've existed as a card maker before owning one. It does take a bit of trial and error to get just the effect you want. As you can see in this first trial my hand was not holding the Cool Spritzer at an 80 degree angle and my spritzing is not so evenly distributed. I like the effect but improved my technique a bit with my second attempt.
The above Cool Tool Spritzer blows air across the tip of your markers to spray a fine mist of colour across your paper. In this photograph the marker is positioned in the Spritzer correctly but obviously you should take the cap off first. What propells the ink is wind leaving the ball as you squeeze the soft rubber end of the tool while holding it about 4 inches from the paper. In this example I held it only about 2 inches away.
Now the fine dark gray mist is much more soft and spread across the whole image. Don't be fooled the wheel I used in this sample is Very Vintage (pg 27 of the Occasions Mini) and comes with some stippling. I did Spritz with real red over the Very Vintage though. Compare it to my first one and you'll see I was much closer in my first card. Nothing is wrong in either card but this second card shows more control of my Cool Spritzer.

I did this freehand but most of my club friends liked using the wheel guide to ensure exactness.
The Cool Spritzer is a product you might like to select with your hostess dollars if you host a class with your friends this coming March. Just think, besides having a fun night or afternoon out with your friends you could all learn some new card making techniques and leave with the cards you make. If your friends purchase supplies they can still take advantage of Sale-a-bration to help build their stamp sets and get their hobby off to a great start. What a win-win time of our Stampin' Up! year this is!
