I don't know if you like to have some birthday cards on hand for the new year but I do. Hope these swap cards inspire you when you're making yours.
I just love the way Heather stamped this image on designer paper and then cut them out. Lots of work but so worth it for that special friend. Stamps: Sale-A-Bration set "Happy Moments" from pg 5 of the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. You can get this set FREE this month with an order of $65.00!! Paper: Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, and the Sale-a-Bration designer paper from the"Welcome Neighbour" pad ! (This you can also select free with an order of $65.00.)
Josee also made excellent use of the sparkling "Sending Love" designer paper (found on page 13 of our Occasions Mini) to create this pretty birthday card. Josee also used the Scallop Trim Border punch FREE from our sale-a-bration catalogue with an order of $65.00! No wonder Sale-a-bration is my favourite Stampin' Up! season.
Julie Brisson-Parlee created this clean and eye-capturing card with use of our square punches and the level one hostess set "Of the Earth". Love her bold colour combination: crushed curry, Melon Mambo, Bermuda bay, whisper white and soft suede.
Perfect for her daughter, Kathryn Curtis created this sparkly mermaid card with the use of Stampin' Up! punches. You to can case this one if you have the following punches:1-3/8" circle, Scallop Circle, Large Oval, Boho Blossoms, and Five Petal flower. Kathryn really makes this lady pop with the use of Celery Fine Cosmos glitter, celery brad and Rich Razzleberry polka-dot ribbon.
The group voted this card their favourite and I guess you can see why.
All demonstrators admitted that they took inspiration from someone else and we hope you take freely from our cards too. Twist the colours or use a different stamp set to make it your own but do take inspiration and stamp!
Till next time, keep well and have a great stamping day!
Linda
