Finally the New Catty Swap Cards have been swapped out! Feast your eyes on these gorgeous cards! You only need to stop to read if you want some details. Otherwise just enjoy and get inspired by the work of my fellow demonstrators.
Isn't this one lovely! It features the Always stamp set with the Paisley background stamp.
The cardstock is Always Artichoke, Mello Moss and Very Vanilla. The ink used is Classic Always Artichoke. Extras include Satin Artichoke ribbon. I cased this card for my stamping group with Stephanie's friends, on Saturday.
Here's the card that I designed for the group based on Alysabeth's. Thanks for your inspiration! We used dimentionals to pop up the bird. Other than the Vanilla cardstock, the whole card was done in Blue Bayou cardstock and classic ink. Even the double stitched ribbon is Blue Bayou. Love that colour!
This beautiful card features the same set, Always, but uses the Stitched background stamp.
Marie designed her card in Chocolate Chip and Soft Sky papers, with Classic and Craft Chocolate Chip ink. Notice the distressed edges and sponged Chocolate on the Soft Sky cardstock. With wide Grosgrain Ribbon the tiny flowers, punched with the help of a 1/2" circle punch, add the details that make Marie's work stand out!
Heather, I love this colour combination! You have added many lovely details. The satin ribbon and the little brad in the center of this flower from "One of a Kind"are just the right touch! This set is sweet and it's the attention to tiny touches, like the flower attached to this "for you" that make it special. Heather has included some designer paper that matches the Groovy Guava paper perfectly, adding another texture to her two tone card. Perfect!

This delightful card uses the same set: One of a Kind. Lisa has personalized it by using our two oval punches to highlight the greeting, sponging, glitter and a build-a-brad in the center of her flower.
Instead of ribbon, she has layered Perfect Pink with designer paper to complement the Chocolate Chip cardstock of her card.
This flower is beautifully coloured using our Watercolour Wonder Crayons and an Aqua Painter.
The stamps are from "Morning Star" and "All Holidays" Stamp sets. Dorothy used Green Galore ink and carstock and basic black ink on Whisper White cardstock. The added touch of hers is the So Saffron brads mounted in the center of these morning glories. I would never had thought to do that! Thanks Dorothy!
Alysabeth used designer paper contrasted with black cardstock to create a dramatic statement with her card. But I love the bling in the "O" of the you! Now there's an inspiration on how to embellish with style.
Perfect for a little guy! This card was created with "Prehistoric Pals" stamp set and "It's Your Birthday".
This filmstrip effect was created by Heather using the spriral punch. I love that Heather embossed the palm trees with clear EP! In the real world they are very eye catching and finish this card off perfectly!
Featuring the fabulous "In-Colours" Blue Bayou and Soft Sky with matching Soft Sky Designer Papers, IIse designed this card using "Nursery Necessities" stamp set. She used Stampin' Write Markers to colour the flat boat image Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue and Pumpkin Pie. So many special elements are included in this beautiful card! Notice the repetition of the circle theme, the word window punch for the greeting, the double stitched ribbon and the star popped up on a brad! Even the Blue Bayou card front is wheeled in versamark! No spot on this card has been neglected and it all focuses your eye to the center left! I think you could use this card as a taking off point for a scrapbook page. Hmm.... I think I have a starting point.
I'll post some more cards tomorrow! I hope these were an inspiration for you.
Don't forget to select your favourite card for the Stanley Cup Challenge. We need your input to help choose a winner! Please look on the top of the right side bar for the cards and the poll.
Thanks,
Linda
